Meet Shaurya Pratap Singh
The Founder of STOXRA

From a small town in Uttar Pradesh to building India's first AI trading ecosystem at 19 — the story of the boy everyone once laughed at.

Founder · CEO · CTO · Born 2006

When Shaurya Pratap Singh was in Class 2, his teacher asked the children what they wanted to become. One by one they answered: doctor, engineer, the usual dreams. When it was his turn, he said he would launch Windows 11. The classroom laughed — students and teachers both.

Years later, that same boy would build India's first AI-powered trading ecosystem before turning twenty. The laughter, it turns out, was early — not wrong. Even then, his ambition had a name: from Class 2, he signed his school books and notebooks with "SPS" — his own initials, treated like a personal brand. Classmates laughed at that too. From the very beginning, Shaurya never wanted a normal job or a normal life. He wanted to build — to create real things, real businesses, real work that helps people. This is the story of how he did exactly that.

Where It Began

A Hard Start, and a Mother's Sacrifice

Shaurya grew up in Basti, a small town in Uttar Pradesh historically known as Vasishtha Nagar — named after the sage Vasishtha, who is said to have taught Lord Ram. It is a place rich in heritage but far from the startup hubs of India.

His early years were not easy. At just 11 years old, Shaurya left his childhood home and started life over in the city with his mother. From that point on, it was his mother — Neetu Singh, a school teacher — who carried the family. She had worked since he was two years old, and she spent everything she earned on his education. Her struggle as a single mother became the foundation of his drive. Everything Shaurya built, he built carrying that.

His full name carries two meanings given to him in childhood: Shaurya, meaning bravery and courage — and Harsh, the name given by his grandfather, meaning strict and unyielding. Both would prove fitting.

The Spark

Discovering the Market in Class 9

Shaurya found the stock market in Class 9. With no mentors in his town and nothing about markets in the school syllabus, he taught himself — how Indian markets work, how trading works, how to read movements. By Class 10, he had started practising and trading for real.

But he didn't stop at the stock market. Curious about technology with no one around to guide him, he taught himself how crypto worked, how forex markets moved, how blockchain functioned, how websites were built, and — most importantly — how artificial intelligence is made. He didn't just learn AI; he started building it.

Before STOXRA

Two Businesses, Two Lessons

Long before STOXRA, Shaurya was already an entrepreneur — funding his first ventures with money he earned from trading.

Class 11 · Clothing Brand

Nirav Fashion

A custom apparel brand — t-shirts, suits, and sarees — built solo, with its own website. The name Nirav came from blending his family: his mother Neetu, his younger brother Aarav, and himself. He closed it to focus on his Class 12 board exams — and walked away with a lesson that shaped everything next: you can't build something big alone. You need a team, and people who trust you.

Drop Year · Cloud Kitchen

Swad Sanskriti

During his drop year after Class 12, Shaurya launched a cloud kitchen in his city. It hit ₹1 lakh per month in its first month and ₹2 lakh per month in its second — proof that he could turn an idea into real revenue, fast.

The Turning Point

The Months That Changed His Mind

Like so many Indian students, Shaurya was pushed toward the JEE path. He went to Kanpur for coaching, into the same pressure-cooker environment millions of students endure. Within two months, his health collapsed.

He contracted dengue. His platelet count crashed to 15,000, with infections reaching his liver and kidneys. Doctors told him that had he come even a little later, he might not have survived. He spent two months in recovery — and came out with a conviction that would define him: that blindly chasing JEE, at the cost of everything else, was not the only path, and for him, not the right one.

He completed Class 12 in 2024. But his belief had hardened: an IIT is a college, not a career. He decided to bet on building instead.

" In India we treat the stock market like gambling. I'm building STOXRA so my generation treats it like a skill — a daily way to take part in India's growth. — Shaurya Pratap Singh, Founder of STOXRA
The Build

Building STOXRA as a Student

In September 2025, Shaurya joined IIMT University, Greater Noida, for a B.Tech in Computer Science — where he still studies today, building STOXRA alongside his classes. But the groundwork had started long before. For nearly two years he had been quietly preparing: studying how trading apps work, how broker platforms run, how the stock market actually functions, how data is structured to train AI, and how to truly support a user.

In November 2025, he began building. Drawing on everything he'd taught himself, he constructed the entire STOXRA ecosystem — using modern AI-assisted development tools and his own research and data. By January 2026, it was ready. After testing, STOXRA launched on 15 February 2026.

It was not easy. The hardest wall was the one most young founders hit: money and resources. Building something this ambitious with limited means tested him constantly. But the lesson from Nirav Fashion held — this time, he wasn't alone.

The Partnership

A Friendship Since Class 7

Shaurya didn't build STOXRA by himself. Beside him was Khushi Agrahari, his co-founder — and one of his oldest friends. The two have known each other since Class 7, when they first met at a school annual function, performing together as Radha and Krishna. They've been friends ever since.

Together they shaped and polished STOXRA's core idea — the platform, the vision, and the AI Mentor at its heart. Their strengths complement each other: where Shaurya is the self-taught builder, Khushi is the academic star — a topper, consistently at the top of her class. Today she serves as Co-Founder, CFO and CPO, the second pillar of the company. Learn more in The Story Behind STOXRA.

The Technology

Kalki — The AI Behind STOXRA

Shaurya's biggest technical achievement is the intelligence that powers STOXRA AI. Before STOXRA, he had already built his own AI model — Kalki, named after the final avatar of Vishnu, who comes to restore the world with honesty. The name is no accident: it mirrors his mission to bring honesty and clarity to how India learns to trade.

A Proprietary AI Engine

STOXRA AI runs on Shaurya's own Kalki model — a proprietary system that combines multiple leading AI models with STOXRA's own trading data to generate sharper, more reliable guidance than any single model alone. The result is an AI Mentor built specifically for Indian traders. Explore it in What is STOXRA AI?

Proof

The Moment It Felt Real

For Shaurya, STOXRA became real the day he sat across from investors with nothing but a prototype, a vision, and two years of preparation behind him. They questioned him hard — about the stock market, about how it all worked. As he answered, their scepticism turned to surprise. They were shocked at how deeply a 19-year-old understood the markets — and they believed in him. That first round closed on the strength of the idea and the prototype alone.

And then there was his mother. She had always been anxious — a single mother who had struggled so much, watching her son refuse the safe, normal path. She never stopped him, but she worried. The day STOXRA launched, she finally believed.

The Dream

Where He's Taking STOXRA

Shaurya's vision is deliberately big. In countries like the US, more than 50% of people take part in the stock market. In India, only 1–2% have a demat account. He sees that gap as the opportunity of a generation — and the gap that STOXRA exists to close.

His five-year dream is all of it at once: to make STOXRA India's #1 trading education platform, to bring millions of young Indians into the markets the right way, and to build a global AI fintech from India. For a boy who was laughed at in Class 2 and left home at 11, it's not just ambition — it's a continuation of everything he's already proven he can do.

That vision reaches beyond trading. Through the Stoxra Ambassador Club (SAC) — open to both college and school students across India — Shaurya wants to build a community where young people grow their ideas, launch startups, and find the motivation and network they rarely get elsewhere. With regular events run by the team, SAC is designed to do for the next generation of student-founders what no one did for him: give them a place to believe they can build.
